Taking place April 5-9, 2017 in Quiberon Bay, La Semaine Affoilante, is organised by the ENVSN partnered with the Team LSA. A unique annual event focused on foil technology that SEAir could not miss.
In 2016, between the sky and the sea, SEAir had put on the show with our foil-equipped Moths and our patron and sponsor, double World Champion Catherine Maunoury, who came along with her Extra 300 SC plane to do an aerobatics show in the Brittany skies.
This year, SEAir will once again be present, this time with our Mini 747 – on route to the Quiberon peninsula this morning, a boat with a solid reputation since it’s first flights last January.
Over three days, several demonstrations will take place on the Mini 6.50 and it’s specific architecture designed by David Raison. If conditions permit, the Mini 747 will also go on some speed test runs. On Thursday April 6, SEAir will participate in the Foil Racing Conference: David Raison and Benoît Lequin will speak at 4.30pm and share their experiences with the Mini and debate about the need or not to regulate foils in high sea. We will talk maneuverability but not control process. Over the weekend, on Saturday, April 8 and Sunday, April 9, the Moths will take centre stage and participate in l’Act III of the Brittany Moth Series, the occasion for SEAir to announce a year’s partnership with the French Moth Class!
An exciting edition SEAir is « foil-ly » on board with.
